About me
I hold a Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin (2005) and a clinical social work license (LCSW) in the state of Pennsylvania. I graduated from Wesleyan University with a degree in American Studies in 1999.
In my work as a public school social worker I often assist teens struggling with friendships, bullying, and romantic relationships. I have worked with teens who experience family conflict, and losses such as divorce or parental abandonment, a loved one’s incarceration, or a major move or relocation.
I believe that teens need each other and they need supportive family relationships in order to survive this period of their lives, and to thrive. Lonely teens are everywhere, and my goal is to assist those who are struggling to find a healthy place for themselves within their families and within the broader social world.
